#480. ripples

September 15, 2011

my life robbed me of my life
and gave it all back to me

in the river are all the rivers
suns and moons
and all the days the nights
gleam shadow wed the dark light

honey you are all my rivers
and all my wife
sailing up the wide wide stream
boat dream knife

#412. meme me

October 24, 2010

time all counts
the future desired memories
infinite listening
seeing pictures in past time
to know even
the now added to the stories
count the time

the small hound yawns in the sunshine
translating time into memory
i forget to think
and only look
and listen

#366. summer chill

August 26, 2010

and now the season
begins to fade
the leaves
meditate
upon
hue
and i
watch
the children
playing by sunny
shores not believing
in the school bell’s peal

#322. eagle bone flute

July 13, 2010

tasting
the sunshine
flowing through
yr native eagle bone
flute with all the notes
stroking my skin and kissing
kissing kissing my spine and neck
i see the canyon breezes and smell
the waters rushing below
among the pinion
pines

#307. time to know

June 28, 2010

carefully
with friends
the sun shines
but the clouds come
and the rain is a relief
leading everyone home
with the red sun set
the evening chill
brings back
the joy

#298. solstice

June 19, 2010

sun on skin today
midsummers eve
gold glint in yr eyes
midsummers night
my lover has me
full sun tomorrow
midsummers day
lets go out and play
autumn is coming

#292. unseen in the sun

June 13, 2010

the lighthouse lamp
with beams for my
moods long
in pale moonshine
short in rose dawn

#278. so long obi wan

May 30, 2010

not having had
the masterclass today
i remember to notice
more dearly more
clearly the shadows
silhouettes and highlights
of sun at play on the waters
of the east river crinkling
dancing through me connected
in waves found in time
to show me a masterway
my ghosted way

trees entwined
apart and
sea silver
in the fire of the moon
and the stars
and the sun
quietly sleeping below
mountains beckoning clearly
through the air

this is the home
we have created and found
created and bound

alone is no longer lonely

the day
sweeps into the night
with blue grey
and lavender.
i wonder where
the oranges and reds
go on evenings like these.

one osprey waits for another
to wing its way across the inlet
home.
