#51. Looking Inside
October 15, 2009
Looked inside your screen
door
and
there you were
graceful cool as jazz.
Looked inside your smile
awhile
and
found an ease
meant for me.
Looked inside your eyes
calm
gold to me
tho green to thee
and restless sea.
Looked inside your intelligence
your brilliance
and found aesthetics
honed to shape
a blade edged like mine.
Looked inside your laughter
and bright shouts
flighted fancy
as if they were
pots to be thrown.
Looked inside your heart
tho just a glimpse
still
you seem so familiar
future memory like home.
