picking
up a red leaf
maple and small
that the crisp wind
brought announcing
softly winter

#406. mainely in my mind

October 16, 2010

its so funny
how crisp autumn
leads to change
returns thought
to creation dreams
of the road

finding the path once more
my boots turn away from home
towards the forests of living trees
the dying many colored leaves and far hills
and the honey golden hound who stops and gazes
back with puzzled tilted head soft eyes saying lets go

#390. stargaze

September 21, 2010

if the colors within you
reflect the clear night sky
then come to know the meaning
of travelling starwards within the depths
of your lover’s eyes

#260. legacy

May 12, 2010

i try to
ensphere time
within these lines
because the colors
run out of my dreams
as soon as i close my eyes

i leave my colors in front of me
that my children may find the now
behind them

#184. season for friends

February 25, 2010

snow strobes
the bright dusk
deepening
my friends reveal
visions healing
dreams in colors
against the white
snow strobes

and a crocus shoots green
up through the slush

#74. I Would

November 8, 2009

I Would
see round your face
autumn
tight colors.

I would
melt beneath your body
winter
snow sheets.

I would
kiss your good hands
spring
fine scent.

I would
brush your bright hair
summer
rain breeze.

I would. I would. I would.
