#422. shards

November 4, 2010

the light is dark
shining in the mirror
bringing facts revealing
truths bent by the mind
feeding shaping addicting us
to the life we live with no mercy
break it into pieces let the shards
fall where they may

wow, thanks for adding me up in your blogroll. my deep gratitude to you. for this poem, i can understand that need to break in the monotony of things. breathing out from this life’s mediocrity.

    all the best to you.

I love the placement of your lines.
like what words start out your sentences.
I dont know if its deliberate, but it is deliberate with me, so…this is my favorite part, such a wonderful play on the expression…
“break it into pieces let the shards
    fall where they may”
