#404. every morning

October 12, 2010

casting about
no excuses
must face
my face
mirror
mirror
my face
must face
no excuses
casting about

distortions never lie
dormant my reflection
always seems to cry

Rather like what thoughts this poem brings to mind…my first thought was how one looks in the mirror and tries to lie to themselves only to see that what’s in the head…is not in the mirror…oh well…I guess that’s enough of my rambling.

I’m not the only one who wants to avoid mirrors?
