#399. east river esplanade

October 3, 2010

certain
of now and then
with out knowing the point
spread out over all the time it takes
to walk a girl from pier seventeen to battery park
and ride home with the daily catch
on the path to awareness
that everything
passes

Sometimes when I read what you write about NYC…I get the urge to visit again because of the scenes you create. 😉

I am so happy to reread. The second discovery of your poems is often a shock, how did I miss this first time around?
Is the girl the daily catch?? Lol
