#49. The Wire Which Sings

October 14, 2009

The wire which sings

and the voices of conversing women
pumps adrenaline
through veins that flow
with decomposing gold.

This life
this skein woven of time and beauty
devours willing emotions
like black stars in a white night sky.

A veil of goofy illusion
floats from my eyes
to hang over my head
allowing small changes
that add up to everything
that there is
and sweeps all
perception under the mat.

We ourselves
sleep on the whole
sunstar.
